During the year, the MMWC will receive from various organizations, requests for
specific needed items. We are thrilled how responsive our community is to these
requests.
A story of interest you may enjoy. The Meals on Wheels organization asked us to
collect donations of pet food. They had discovered many of their elderly
recipients could not afford to buy pet food and were sharing their meals with their
pets. We collected donated pet food and gave it to Meals on Wheels for
distribution. A simple gesture that brought happiness to many people ...and pets
too!!!
