Who We Are....
The Mira Mesa Women's Club (MMWC) is a volunteer, non-profit
organization of women dedicated to community service.
MMWC strives to improve the quality of its community through the
efforts of a vibrant and dynamic group of women. Our membership is
comprised of professionals and homemakers from Mira Mesa, Rancho
Penasquitos, Poway, Ramona and Clairemont.
We are quite proud to be an affiliate of the General Federation of
Women's Clubs (GFWC), the oldest and largest, non-denomination,
non-partisan, international service organization of volunteer women in
the world.
We encourage our members to become interested, involved citizens of
the community by engaging in charitable activities that benefit the
community as a whole. While no minimum number of hours is required
to maintain membership, the Club offers a range of volunteer
opportunities in six general areas: Conservation, Education, Home
Life, International Affairs, Public Affairs, and The Arts.
