Our History
The Mira Mesa Junior Women's Club was originally organized in 1973
by a Mira Mesa resident, Mrs. Wade King (Jackie). Mrs. King, with the
assistance of Mrs. Charles Kincade (Melody), also a Mira Mesa
resident and a member of the San Diego Junior Women's Club,
engaged the assistance of the San Diego District Federation Officer,
Carol Odegard, and on January 26, 1974, Mira Mesa Junior Women's
Club became a member of the Junior Membership of the California
Federation of Women's Clubs. The charter was drawn on February
27, 1974
The Club graduated to Mira Mesa Women's Club in May 2007.
